Janakpur Given a Target of 156 Runs by Pokhara

Kathmandu — Pokhara Avengers have set a target of 156 runs for Janakpur Bolts.

 

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Pokhara scored 155 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. For Pokhara, Sumit Maharjan top-scored with 50 runs. Dinesh Kharel added 38, Tritraj Das 29, Adam Rossington 24, Dan Douthwaite 7, Jimmy Neesham 1, while captain Kushal Bhurtel was dismissed for a duck.

 

For Janakpur, Sanjay Krishnamurthy took three wickets, while Lalit Rajbanshi and captain Anil Sah claimed one wicket each.

 

Both teams — defending champions Janakpur under the captaincy of Anil Shah, and Pokhara led by Kushal Bhurtel — are aiming for their first win, as both had lost their previous matches.
