Malaysia Sets 105-Run Target for Nepal in First Women’s T20I

Kathmandu – Malaysia has set a target of 105 runs for Nepal in the first match of the five-match Women’s T20 International series.

Winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Malaysia posted 104 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

For Malaysia, captain Winifred Duraisingam top-scored with 27 runs, while opener Ainna Hamizah Hashim contributed 26 runs.

At the time of this report, Suman Bista had taken two wickets, and Rubina Chhetri had claimed one wicket for Nepal.

The Nepali women’s cricket team is currently touring Malaysia as part of their preparation for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier, which is scheduled to be held in Nepal in January next year.
