Kathmandu – The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially announced the national squad for the upcoming Unity Cup T20 series against the West Indies, set to be held later this month in the United Arab Emirates.
The three-match series is scheduled for September 27, 29, and 30 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, offering Nepal a valuable opportunity to compete on an international stage against a renowned cricketing nation.
The 16-member Nepali team will be captained by Rohit Kumar Paudel, with Dipendra Singh Airee serving as the vice-captain. The squad also includes a mix of experienced players and promising young talents such as Kushal Malla, Aasif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, and Sompal Kami.
Other key selections in the lineup are Aadil Alam, Lokes Bam, Karan KC, Nandan Yadav, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Sandeep Lamichhane, Gulshan Jha, Sundeep Jora, Arif Sheikh, and Sahab Alam.
This series marks an important chapter for Nepali cricket, as the team aims to build momentum and showcase its growing strength against a high-profile opponent.
