Kathmandu – Nepali cricketers Indu Barma and Seemana KC have been selected to represent the Asian XI in the upcoming European T10 League, marking a proud moment for Nepal’s growing presence in women’s international cricket. Indu Barma will lead the squad as captain, while Seemana KC has also earned her place in the star-studded lineup.
The Asian XI team, known as the “Conquerors”, brings together top talent from across the continent, including players from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, and Nepal. Pakistan’s Saira Jabeen has been named the Icon Player, while Thailand’s top performers Natthakan Chantham and Nannapat Koncharoenkai add further strength to the side.
Indu Barma’s captaincy is a testament to her leadership skills and consistent performances at the international level. Her inclusion alongside fellow Nepali teammate Seemana KC reflects the rising stature of Nepali women’s cricket on the global stage.
The team will be coached by Anuradha Doddaballapur from India and Medha Gooch from Sri Lanka, both bringing valuable experience and strategic expertise.
