Kathmandu – Nepal ‘A’ has been defeated in the first match of the T20 series against Assam, which began today in Guwahati, India.
Chasing a target of 191 runs set by Assam, Nepal ‘A’ had scored 64 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 8 overs when rain interrupted the match, and no further play was possible.
With the match unable to resume, Nepal ‘A’ was declared 15 runs short according to the DLS (Duckworth-Lewis-Stern) method.
For Nepal, Aakash Chand took 3 wickets, while Vivek Yadav and Kamal Singh Airee claimed 2 wickets each, and Adil Alam took 1 wicket.
