Perth Wins Top End T20 Series Title, Nepal Finishes Eighth

Kathmandu – Perth Scorchers Academy has won the title of the Top End T20 Series held in Australia’s Northern Territory. In the final match held on Sunday, Perth defeated Adelaide Strikers by 15 runs to secure the championship.

Chasing a target of 206 runs set by Perth, Adelaide managed to score only 190 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Earlier the same day, Perth had defeated Pakistan Shaheens and Adelaide had beaten Chicago Kingsmen in their respective semifinal matches to reach the final.

Nepal also participated in the tournament. However, they managed to win only 2 out of their 6 league matches and ended up in eighth place with a total of 4 points.
