Kathmandu – In their fourth match of the ongoing Top End T20 Series in Australia’s Northern Territory, Nepal has set a competitive target for the Hobart Hurricanes.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Nepal scored 180 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, setting a target of 181 runs for Hobart.
For Nepal, Arif Sheikh top-scored with 33 runs. Aasif Sheikh contributed 29 runs, while Kushal Bhurtel added 27. Lokesh Bam remained unbeaten on 25 runs off just 11 balls. Nepal also benefited from 32 extra runs.
Having lost their previous three matches, Nepal is now seeking their first win of the series.
Nepal is scheduled to play against Melbourne Renegades tomorrow and Pakistan Shaheens on Friday.
