NPL: Two Matches Today

Kathmandu – Two matches are scheduled to take place today under the ongoing second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) in the capital.

In the first match, starting at 11:15 AM at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Karnali will face Lumbini Lions. Lumbini will take the field under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel, while Karnali will be led by Sompal Kami.

Lumbini is seeking its second victory. The team had defeated Chitwan Rhinos in its first match. This is also the second match for Karnali. Having lost its opening game to Chitwan Rhinos, Karnali aims to secure a win today.

Similarly, in the second match, at 3:30 PM, Kathmandu Gorkhas will play against Biratnagar Kings. Kathmandu, led by Karan KC, will be playing its third match. Kathmandu had defeated defending champions Janakpur Bolts in the first game but was stunned by Sudurpaschim Royals in the second. Biratnagar, captained by Sandeep Lamichhane, is looking for its second consecutive win. The team registered an impressive victory over Pokhara Avengers in its opening match.
