Afghanistan Set Nepal a Target of 103 Runs

Kathmandu – Afghanistan have set Nepal a target of 103 runs in their opening match of the men’s cricket competition at the 20th Asian Games, currently underway in Japan.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Afghanistan scored 102 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

For Nepal, Kushal Bhurtel took four wickets, while Lalit Rajbanshi claimed three.

The match began at 10:45 a.m. at Korogi Sports Park in Nishin, Aichi, Japan.

Nepal are placed in Group ‘A’ alongside Afghanistan and Japan. In their opening match on Thursday, Afghanistan defeated Japan.
